Movie
makers have been experimenting with 3D video
for a long time. Up until now the standard
method for viewing 3D was the old-fashioned
blue and red cellophane and paper glasses.
With the new technology of the 3D Movie
Viewer, the paper glasses have been replaced
by a video visor with electronics that
convert the image from 2D to 3D on the fly!

because the system does not use blue and red
colored lenses, there is no distortion of
the movie's color.

How
It Works:
Traditional systems of screen 3D viewing in
monochrome or color use anaglyph or
polarized images that require wearing the
old red/green, red/blue or polarized lenses
or LCD shutter glasses. However, the 3D
Movie Viewer system uses separate LCD
displays in the visor giving you true LEFT
and RIGHT images converted from the original
video footage. The result is spectacular
immersive 3D. The glasses also have eye
cups that block most external light
enhancing your viewing privacy and
eliminating external distractions.
Until now only specially processed DVD's
could provide true 3D movies, but because of
the technological breakthrough of the 3D
Movie Viewer’s electronics, 3D movies are as
close as your DVD player.
The 3D
Movie Viewer receives an ordinary video
signal through a wire from your DVD, VHS
Video player, Cable box or Game console. The
2D Video is then converted into a 3D Video
signal and displayed on the two LCD screens
in the visor. The 3D Movie Viewer internal
electronics perform complicated mathematical
perspective algorithms which convert
standard 2D Video into Real 3D that appears
right in front of you in the visor - all in
real time. The specially developed 3D Movie
Viewer microprocessor does this by
performing 90 million complex image
calculations per second, creating separate
and distinct left eye and right eye images
in your visor, thus producing Realistic
Stereoscopic 3D!
The 3D Movie Viewer is a plug and play unit.
However, it does have several buttons that
are used to enhance the 3D experience. The
Input button is set for the type of signal
coming into the converter (Game System, 2D
Video or 3D Video). The Output button allows
you to switch between seeing a 2D or 3D
video image. The Phase Adjust button
switches between left-eye-first and
right-eye-first video viewing. The Parallax
(<>) buttons are used to increase or
decrease depth perception and the Program
Mode button allows you to choose from 4
video source preset modes. Switching from
one mode to another is easy. These 4
specifically calibrated modes (see below)
are designed to enhance your 3D viewing
experience and increase maximum depth
perception based on the type of program that
you're watching.
